How long does it take to edit a dissertation or thesis?

Absolutely, yes. All of our dealings with you and the services we carry out for you are completely private. Before you send us any of your work, we’d be pleased to send you a non-disclosure agreement.

May I speak with my editor or writer over the phone or Skype?

Of course! Dissertation-Editor.com is focused on providing the absolute best in customer service. Our editor in chief is always available to you by phone, and most of our editing packages include direct communication with your editor.

Is editing my dissertation or thesis considered cheating?

Absolutely not! Many professors expect their students to seek professional editing assistance to ensure that the text is free of technical errors and properly formatted. The service we provide focuses on improving the mechanics and clarity of your content rather than writing original work—which would be considered plagiarism.

We offer a wide range of payment plans, though a deposit is always due upfront to initiate your order. We accept credit cards, PayPal, and bank wire transfers.

May I receive a sample edit of my own work?

Yes, absolutely! Please send us some of your material and we will edit one page free of charge. This will provide you with a good sense of our editorial style. The typical turnaround on a sample edit is one or two days.

Statistics FAQs
What does the data analysis process consist of?

Five steps make up the data analysis process. Clearly defining your research questions is the first step. Choosing a measurement method for each element of your research topic is the second stage. Locating data that complies with your measurement specification and getting it ready for analysis constitute the third phase. The fourth stage is to analyze your data using a methodology that is suitable for the measurement definition and information. The fifth phase is analyzing your findings.

What steps in data analysis do you assist with?

All of them. If you need assistance with any of the processes, we are more than happy to provide it.

I'm rushing to complete my dissertation. Can some of the steps be skipped?

Each step of the data analysis is required to complete your dissertation and relates to the fundamental mathematical truths of statistical analysis.

How long does it take to finish an analysis?

When we finish step three, it usually takes 5-7 business days until we give your results. Our method may involve more of a chat before we finish step three since we require your help to clearly identify your questions, measurement, and data set.

I am a lecturer in ecology, climate and conservation, with over 25 years of research, consultancy and field-experience across three continents (Europe, Africa and Australia). I first started editing in the early 2000s when a colleague asked for assistance, and have since gained broad experience helping both native and non-native English speakers polish their work. I have published over 40 papers in mid to high impact journals (including TREE and Ecology Letters), and peer-reviewed over 500 papers for over 50 journals to date (I review over 50 papers/year at present). I am a handling editor for two internationally recognised journals. I have sat on several PhD committees and I review research grant proposals for major international organisations. I am also the published author of a guide book that is now on its 4th edition. I have extensive experience preparing papers, grant proposals, reports and other academic documents (technical and layman) for both academic and other industrial applications
